action file output weirdness

Howdy all! I'm just learning how to utilitze the WUHU software. With that, I'm having some issues. I'm trying to generate a text file with basic info. Like outside temp, humidy, wind speed, etc. I've created the action file. Created the template, and the destination file is written, except it has no data. For example, the following is copied from the result file.

[outdoor_temperature]deg_F,N/A

All my data from the weather station (la crosse ws-2810 I think) passes through to WUHU fine. Even when copying pasting the example files I get the same result. Any ideas where to search for the issue? Thanks!

I HAVE THE SAME QUESTION.  TRYING TO SET THE WUHU OUTPUT FILE CURRDAT.LST TO A TEXT FILE THAT CAN BE READ BY UI-VIEW.  DON'T SEEM TO ANSWERS TO ANY QUESTIONS ANSWERED ON THIS SITE...
